Residents attended a MTA Proposed Bus Route Community Rally on Friday, August 30 to oppose the removal of the over 50-year-old barriers on Balcom Avenue.
Community members claim that the barriers’ removal will affect parking tremendously. A MTA bus announcement later that week made the protest a moot point, as the Bx 42 route will
remain the unchanged.
