M.S. 181 ART CLUB UNVEILS SCHOOL MURAL
On the morning of Monday, June 24, Councilman Andy King joined students from M.S. 181’s
Art Club to cut the ribbon on a mural completed this spring as part of a collaborative program
with the Lehman College Art Gallery. King secured $20,000 in City Council funding
for Lehman College to facilitate the program, as part of the Council’s Cultural After-school
Adventure initiative.

Male breast cancer survivor turned activist Michael Singer and his wife Patty were busy
during Men’s Health Month raising awareness and educating the public about male breast
cancer at several events.
