EMS SAVE EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED MAN
POLICE INVESTIGATE OLINVILLE HOMICIDE
Police need your help solving a homicide that happened in Olinville. According to
police, 47th Precinct police offi cers responded to a call of a male assaulted inside
3677 White Plains Road on Sunday, June 30 at 2:20 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered
30-year-old tenant O’Brian Maxwell laying on the fl oor inside the fourth
fl oor stairwell, unconscious and unresponsive with stab wounds to his neck. EMS
responded an pronounced Maxwell dead on arrival. Police are searching for an individual
wanted for questioning described as a black male in his early 20s who was
last seen wearing a red tank top with numbers on the front , black pants with a white
belt and black and white Adidas fl ip fl ops. Anyone with information is asked to call

42nd Precinct
Monday, May 27 at 11:32 p.m. -- The NYPD
responded to a 911 emergency call of a man shot
in front of 1499 Boston Road. Upon arrival on the
scene, officers found a 23-year-old man lying in front
of 1551 Claremont Parkway with gunshot wounds to
the legs. EMS responded to the location and transported
the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he succumbed
to his injuries on Monday, June 17. The incident
has been deemed a homicide.
Saturday, June 16 at 12:26 a.m. -- The NYPD
responded to a call of a fight in progress near East
169tb Street and Prospect Avenue. When officers
arrived on the scene they found an unconscious and
unresponsive 40-year-old man laying on the street
with no visible signs of trauma. EMS also responded
to the scene and transported the man to Lincoln
Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The
NYC Medical Examiner will determine the cause of
death and the investigation is ongoing as of press
time.
43rd Precinct
Sunday, June 23 at 4:20 a.m. -- The NYPD
is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying
three individuals in connection to a robbery incident.
Cops got a report that in front of a residential building
located near Boynton Avenue and East 172nd
Street, a 38-year-old man was attempting to open
a security gate door when he was approached by
three individuals, one of whom was wielding a knife.
One of the individuals pushed a tin foil plate into the
victim’s face and forcibly removed his Samsung cell
phone and $80 cash before fleeing northbound on
Boynton Avenue. There were no injuries reported.
One of the individuals is described as a male Hispanic
who is 5’9” tall and weights 190 pounds with
a slim build. He was last seen wearing a red bandanna,
black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and
red sneakers. Another of the individuals is described
as male Hispanic who is 5’9” tall, 170 pounds with a
slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded
sweatshirt, blue jeans and red sneakers. A third individual
is also a male Hispanic of the same height
who weighs about 175 pounds. He was last seen
wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and
black sneakers.
Monday, June 24 at 1:57 p.m. -- The NYPD
responded to a 911 call of an emotionally disturbed
person inside of 1530 Metropolitan Avenue. Upon
arrival, officers discovered a 46-year-old male unconscious
and unresponsive in the living room. EMS
also responded to the scene and pronounced the
male deceased. The medical examiner will determine
the cause of death.
44th Precinct
Saturday, June 15 at 12:30 p.m. -- Police are
asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two
individuals in connection to a reckless endangerment
incident. The NYPD got a report two unknown
males got into a verbal dispute in front of a grocery
store at 125 Marcy Place. The dispute, which started
as a verbal disagreement, escalated into violence. A
physical altercation led to both individuals producing
guns and discharging several rounds at the scene.
Both individuals fled the location on foot. There were
no injuries reported as a result of the shooting. One
of the individuals is a male Hispanic who is between
20-years-old and 30-years-old. He was last seen
wearing a blue jean jacket and dark pants. The second
individual is a Hispanic male who is between
20-years-old and 30-years-old. He was last seen
wearing all dark clothing.
47th Precinct
Thursday, May 23 at 1:20 a.m. -- The NYPD
is asking for the public’s assistance to locate and
identify the following individuals in connection to a
robbery. A 22-year-old male victim met a woman,
who police identified during the course of an ongoing
investigation, near Barnes and Bissel avenues to
socialize. The woman suggested that they walk east
on Bissel Avenue. As they approached Ely Avenue,
two male individuals approached the victim. One of
these individual was brandishing a handgun and demanding
the victim’s property. All three individuals
searched the victim and removed his wallet, $40 in
cash, and his cell phone before the male with the gun
struck him on the head with the weapon. The woman
fled in an unknown direction and the two males
fled on Bissel Avenue. The male suffered a laceration
to his forehead and was removed to Jacobi Hospital
in stable condition. The female is a 17-year-old
woman who is 5’3” tall and weighs 110 pounds.
She is known to frequent areas near Fteley Avenue
and East 173rd Street. One of the male individuals
is a described as a Black man who was last seen
wearing a skull cap and dark colored clothing. The
other male individual is described as a Black male
who was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded
sweater and dark colored pants.
48th Precinct
Saturday June 8, 2019 at 7:20 a.m. -- The
NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying
an individual depicted in connection to an
assault. Police received a report that an individual
punched a 34-year-old male victim in the face without
any provocation near East Tremont Avenue and
Park Avenue. The male fled the area on foot southbound
on Park Avenue. The victim was transported
to St. Barnabas hospital in stable condition. The individual
cops are seeking to identify is described as
a Black man between 20-years-old and 30-yearsold.
He was last seen wearing a red shirt with “NBA”
across the front in white lettering, black sweatpants
and gray sneakers.
52nd Precinct
Friday, June 7 at 12:47 a.m. -- The NYPD is
asking the public’s assistance identifying a male
wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery.
Cops got a report that a 44-year-old female victim
was walking in front of 2705 Marion Avenue when
an unidentified man struck her in the torso with a
bottle. The man fled in an unknown direction with
the victim’s necklace and $300 cash. The victim refused
medical attention at the scene.

EMS saved an emotionally disturbed man from harming himself and potentially others
in Pelham Bay. According to police, 45th Precinct police offi cers responded to a
call of a male acting erratically inside of 3004 Middletown Road on Thursday, June 27
at 12:45 p.m. Police confi rmed a 41-year-old man was behaving violently by breaking
the window and throwing items outside. He was discovered with what appeared to be
self-infl icted wounds to his head. EMS responded and the aided male was transported
to Jacobi Hospital for evaluation and treatment. Police stated that the man’s mother
