@IRIROMO350 Back-to-school season has arrived in western Queens,
and students are returning to academia in style. We
asked the community to tag us (@boromagazine)
on Instagram in their photos of their children’s first
day at school. Whether they used chalkboards,
letter boards or old-fashioned construction paper,
many kids made signs to commemorate the big day. One
girl donned a “first day of school” shirt, while another wore
a sticker from her academy. Here are a few of our favorite
submissions.
