Vincent Albrecht is the beloved principal of St. Edward the Confessor School,
known to students for his wide collection of ties and unbridled enthusiasm
for his school, its teachers, parents and students. This Extraordinary
Minister of the Eucharist, a member of the Baptismal preparation team
as well as church representative for scouting fosters a love of learning,

SACHEM PUBLIC LIBRARY
A great public library is a place for education, engagement and inspiration.
Sachem Public Library fulfills all of that and more with a mission to “Inspire.
Engage. Educate.” Our most recent Summer Reading Club boasted 2,473
participants across children, teens and adults. The library offers two outdoor
spaces, Inside/Out, a registered Public Garden, and Discovery Grove, an
outdoor nature classroom for children. In our Inside/Out Garden, two free
annual events include a spooky walk and a holiday light show. Each event
sees thousands of visits annually. We continue to offer learning, crafting and
recreation activities in person, live on Zoom and as recorded segments on
YouTube. Library patrons can borrow museum passes for free admission to
