store, fishing supply shop, water sport rental business and marina.
The location is also the home of the Star Island Grill, which has
been nominated for numerous awards over the years. Sam’s Star
Island Yacht Club attracts a wide variety of people year-round,
including fishermen and boaters who visit from all over the
East Coast to enjoy the excitement of seasonal sport fishing and
to leverage access to an extensive fleet of charter boats. Sam’s
Star Island also serves as the host of many fishing tournaments,
cruising club meetings and catered events, as well as planned
