It was a grand slam month
for tributes to hospital and essential
and healthcare workers
by the JetBlue, the Blue
Angels, the Thunderbirds,
and Geico Skytypers.
All four squadrons flew
over hospitals in formations
over Manhattan, New Jersey,
Westchester, Queens and
Long Island hospitals and historic
landmarks.
JetBlue’s 21 first responders
flew in the I Love NY aircraft,
and the Long Island
based Geico Skytypers spelled
out
We Support Essential
Workers in the overhead skies
for everyone in the metro area
to see.
JetBlue’s flyover is part of
their Healthcare Hero Program
in which JetBlue will donate
airline tickets to 100,000
healthcare workers in appreciation
of their daily care for
those impacted by the Covid
illness.
