indoors and enjoy the warmth of one of
these cozy establishments!
Th e Astorian — 28-50 31st St.,
Astoria
Th is restaurant and bar features comfort
food and drinks of all kinds. Head
upstairs for a more laid back space with
a fi replace and comfy seating.
Gilbey’s — 32-01 Broadway, Long
Island City
Th is traditional Irish bar has a fi replace
and an internet jukebox. Th ey don’t have
any food on the menu, so they encourage
guests to bring their own or order in.
La Sala — 32-05 Crescent St., Astoria
Th is bar lives up to its name: the small,
cozy space is like a fancy living room.
With lots of comfy seating, this is a great
place to warm up all season long.
Th e Bad Old Days — 16-84 Woodbine
St., Ridgewood
Th is bar has a library where you can
curl up in front of the fi replace with a
book or play some board games. Th ey
also have biweekly game nights and trivia
on Tuesdays.
Manducatis — 13-27 Jackson Ave.,
Long Island City
Th is family-owned restaurant has been
serving homemade southern Italian food
for more than 40 years. Th eir cozy dining
room has hanging plants and a
wood-burning fi replace.
Daly’s Pub — 31-86 31st St., Astoria
Th is Irish pub has an indoor fi replace
and an outdoor patio. Th e bar also has
trivia nights and is a great place to watch
sports.
LIC Market — 21-52 44th Dr., Long
Island City
Th is cute restaurant serves brunch,
lunch and dinner as well as drinks. Th eir
outdoor seating in the back is heated so
it can be enjoyed all year long.
Donovan’s Pub — 57-24 Roosevelt
Ave., Woodside
Th is Irish pub has drinks as well as
warm comfort food like burgers, soup
and shepherd’s pie. Th eir cozy dining
room features a fi replace and rustic,
homey decorations.
Th e Keep — 205 Cypress Ave.,
Ridgewood
Th e Keep is part bar, part antique
store, with lots of old decorations and
furniture. Th ey have food and drinks as
well as live music and psychic readings.
Nancy’s Restaurant — 255-41 Jericho
Tpke., Floral Park
Th is restaurant and tap room has a
fi replace and cathedral ceiling. Th ey
have been serving warm homemade
food for more than 50 years.
