MTA representatives led the guided tour of the $10 billion mega-project, which will connect the Long Island Rail Road to Grand Central Terminal via new tunnels under Manhattan and Queens. The route is expected to be open by December 2022. Every year, hundreds of businesses in a number of categories get nominated and thousands of people vote. The Best of the Boro title has become a highly coveted award for the most outstanding businesses. This is your chance to tell us which businesses really are the best in Queens. From now until Aug. 5, nominations are open for the Best of the Boro Competition. The top 10 businesses that receive the most nominations will move on to the voting round, which takes place from Aug. 22 to Oct. 21.
