According to police, the robbery occurred at 10:55 p.m. on June 5 inside the Hong Kong Dry Cleaners located at 102-57 Jamaica Ave. Law enforcement sources said the 58-yearold employee was removing cash from a change machine when the perpetrator — described as a heavy-set Hispanic male weighing 300 pounds with tattoos on his arm, wearing a black baseball cap and white sneakers — walked into the establishment and shoved her to the floor. Police said he kicked the woman repeatedly, then took the cash in her possession — a reported sum of $3,000 — and fled the scene. Officers from the 102nd Precinct and EMS units responded to the robbery. The victim was treated at Jamaica Hospital for a facial fracture and a swollen lip. Four robbers who invaded a Jamaica home, assaulted a sleeping man in the head and robbed him earlier this month remain at large, according to police. The NYPD released video of two of the suspects wanted for the robbery that occurred at 11:30 a.m. on June 11 inside a residence in the vicinity of Jamaica Avenue and Merrick Boulevard. According to authorities, the four bandits — described as black males between 18 to 20 years of age — made their way inside the residence and approached a 20-year-old man sleeping inside. One of the crooks then struck the sleeping victim in the head with an unknown object, and the suspects demanded money. After obtaining the victim’s cellphone and an unknown amount of cash, the perpetrators fled the scene in an unknown direction. Officers from the 103rd Precinct responded to the incident. The victim was treated at Jamaica Hospital for a head laceration. One of the two suspects caught on video was last seen wearing a black-and-white Nike jacket, while the other wore glasses a black hooded sweatshirt with the words “Rip Smoke” on the front. The failed heist occurred at 9:28 a.m. on June 24 inside the Carver Federal Savings branch located at 115-02 Merrick Blvd. According to authorities, the suspect — described as a black man believed to be 45 years of age, standing 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds and having a dark complexion — entered the branch, approached the counter and handed to a teller a note demanding cash. Seconds later, the suspect abruptly walked out of the branch empty-handed, fleeing in an unknown direction. The incident was reported to the 103rd Precinct; there were no injuries. Police said the would-be bandit was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a blue shirt and blue jeans.
