Nervous about your upcoming driver’s permit test? Then go to the Queens Library
Jamaica location to take free practice DMV permit tests. From 9 a.m. to noon, the
Central Library of Jamaica will be offering practice tests for passenger cars, motorcycles
and commercial drivers license (CDL). Seating is limited, but registration is not
required. Only a library card is required to have access to the practice tests. You can
also take the tests online on your own computer by the following the link, http://

with GreenThumb. QBG is an
urban oasis where people,

through inspiring gardens,
innovative educational

applications of environmental
stewardship. Remagine
your garden as one where
yard waste and veggie scraps
are transformed into a rich
soil amendment that creates
a lush bounty. The event will

her new book, “Rabbit
& Possum,” which is about
a funny picture book on
friendship between two best
friends, Rabbit and Possum.
Dana Wulfekotte is a freelance
animator, comic artist
and children’s book author/
illustrator. She has also done
work for Buzzfeed, Cartoon
Network, Nickelodeon and
FOX. The Astoria Workshop is
