The BWG Girls 05 Blue won their third straight New York State Cup game against the Stony Brook Pumas. Central defender Laila Morales returned after injury to help provide solid defense in the girls’ decisive 5-1 victory. Mila Sadeghi scored two goals; Sophia Ruebenacker, Anna Rooney and Emma Bromley scored one each. The girls won their group and are looking forward to the knockout stage of the competition coming this spring. The U10 Girls won a NY Cup game against Stony Brook SC 4- 0.
