MILDRED MAHLSTEDT of Middle
Village died on Saturday, October 28.
She was the wife of the late Donald,
devoted mother of Jacqueline Wetterer
and Donna Mahlstedt Reilly, loving
mother-in-law of James Wetterer and
George Reilly and dear grandmother
of Scott and Daniel. Services were
off ered at graveside by Pastor Gregory
Sutterlin prior to interment at
All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village,
under the direction of Hess-Miller
Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan
Ave., Middle Village.

KATHRYN JANE SCHIDRICH died
on Saturday, October 28, at the age
of 74. She was the beloved wife of
Peter M. Schidrich, loving mother of
Sharon and Joseph Florio, Steven and
Kim Schidrich, Michael and Erika
Schidrich and the late Peter and Laura
Schidrich, cherished grandmother
of Joseph, Danielle, Christopher, Anna,
Steven, Emily and Ryan and dear
sister of Paul and Joanne Ernst. She is
also survived by many loving nephews
and friends. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered on Thursday, November
2, at St. Adalbert’s Church,
Elmhurst, followed by interment at
Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne,
NY, under the direction of Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave.,
Maspeth.

MICHAEL J. MCGINLEY died on
Monday, October 23, at the age of
85. Originally from County Tyrone,
Ireland, he was the former owner of
the Breff ni Inn and The Red Setter;
he was also a proud and dedicated
member of Clan Na Gael. Michael
was the beloved husband of the
late Kathleen McGinley and Phyllis
McGinley, loving father of Patrick
and Margaret McGinley, John and
Bernadette McGinley, Maureen and
Shane O’Neill and Kathleen and P.J.
Maguire and dear brother of Mary
Flood and George McGinley. He was
also the cherished grandfather of 15
grandchildren. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered on Friday, October
27, at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside,
followed by interment at Calvary
Cemetery, Woodside, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth. In lieu
of fl owers, memorial donations may
be made to Errigal Truagh Special
Needs, Killanely, Emyvale County
Monaghan, Ireland.
