ANTONINO BRUCIA of Reading,
PA, died on Sunday, August 26, at the
Lutheran Home at Topton, PA. Born in
Alcamo, Sicily, he was the son of the
late Baldassare Brucia and the late
Giuseppa (nee Bongiovanni) Brucia. In
addition to his parents, Antonino was
preceded in death by several brothers
and sisters. He was the husband to the
late Carmela (nee Camarda) Brucia.
Antonino is survived by his children
Josephine and Damiano Briguglio;
Anna Balu; Anthony Brucia; Salvatore
Brucia; eight grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren. He will forever
be remembered for his passion of music
and his singing an his way of lift ing
the spirits of those surrounding him.
Visitation was held on Wednesday,
August 29, and will continue today,
Thursday, August 30, from 2 to 5 p.m.
and from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hess-Miller
Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan
Ave., Middle Village. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be off ered on Friday,
August 31, at 10:15 a.m. at St. Matthias
Church, Ridgewood.

WIESLAW A. ZUBRYCKI died
on Monday, August 27, at the age of
58. He was the beloved husband of
Kyrstyna Zubrycka, loving father of
Ewelina and cherished grandfather
of Lily. A private cremation was held
on Tuesday, August 28, at Fresh Pond
Crematory, Middle Village, with a memorial
service schedule to take place
tonight, Thursday, August 30, from 6
to 8:30 p.m. at Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

ANN DAY died on Saturday, August
25, at the age of 78. She was the wife
of the late Ronald Day, loving mother
of Karen Molina, Diane Passarella,
Ronald Day and Laura Day, cherished
grandmother of Christina, Daniel,
Ronnie, Austin and Ryan and dear
sister of Anthony Caputo, Susan
Lomando, Louise Lomando, Mary Pafundi,
Gloria Villanti, Vincent Caputo,
Shirley Caputo and Joseph Caputo. A
private cremation service was held on
Tuesday, August 28, at All Souls Crematory,
East Elmhurst, with a memorial
Mass to follow at Our Lady of Mount
Carmel Church, Brooklyn, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home,

JONATHON BOC of Ridgewood died
on Friday, August 24, at the age of 28.
A native of Queens, he was the loving
son of John Boc and dear brother of Alexandra
Maria Jon and Maria Amanda

August 23, at the age of 87. She
was the beloved mother of Svetlana,
loving grandmother of Vladimir,
Anna and Thomas and cherished
great-grandmother of Charlieann. A

Church, Long Island City, followed
by interment at Calvary Cemetery,

ANNY TRABI of Glendale died on
Saturday, August 18, at the age of 86.
She was the wife of the late Edward
and devoted mother of Janette and
Harry. She is also survived by four
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
