The 2005 BWG Blue beat Met Oval Blue 6-2, and the 2005 BWG White drew with Met Oval White 2-2. 2004 BWG had an impressive game against Met Oval and won by a score of 15-4. At Brennan Field in the pre-academy game, BWG 2003s won 2-0 against Met Oval 2003s. The BWG Academy teams also took the pitch last weekend and played against MLS teams. BWG 14s won against NYCFC 1-0. BWG 16s lost to the Montreal Impact 1-0 in a game played in Canada, and the BWG 18s tied the Montreal Impact 2-2. Bringing home the gold for the Flyers was junior boy Kacper Niepokoj for his 800-meter run, novice girl Aileen Mitarotonda and bantam boy Sean Reilly for their 400-meter run, and the fi nal gold medalist was senior girl Ainara Higgins for her long jump. The silver medal recipients were junior boy Ricky Hubert, senior girl Nina Allen and senior boy John Ostling in the 800-meter run. Owen Kelly also earned silver for his performance in the long jump. Novice girl Olaia Higgins, novice boy Thomas Fischer, bantam girl MacKenize Collin and bantam boy Andrew Kelly took bronze for their high fl ying long jumps. Senior boy Michael Hubert also took home the bronze. Other medalists included bantam girl Nora Olmo and novice girl Soli Olmo along with junior boy John Boger for their long jumps. Junior boy Victor Ostling and senior boy Nicholas Catapano received medals for their 800-meter run. Bantam girl Paulina Lisowski won a medal for her performance in the 400-meter run. Junior girl Jayde Sabin received a medal for her 100-meter dash. Also winning medals were novice boys Anthony Pedicini, Unai Higgins, Kevin Isca and Conn Reilly for their 400-meter relay, as well as peewees Sadie Donahue, Ciara Reilly and Kaylee Ruiz for their 50-meter dash.
