The 2018 Open Engagement - Sustainability

place at the Queens Museum as well
as a number of other sites in NYC.
Featuring presenters Lucy Lippard
and Mel Chin, the 10th year of this

of artists, activists, educators,

and thinkers from every corner of the

Folk Festival is coming to the York

A Jewish Music Through the Ages

The Queens Botanical Garden is
having a Mother’s Day Brunch in the
Garden from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Featuring
a sumptuous menu made by local caterers,

teas and a complimentary glass of wine.
For members, the event will cost $55 for
adults and $28 for children. Non-members

aft ernoon showcase to celebrate Mother’s
Day. Established back in 1984, the
Tung Ching Chinese Center for the
Arts has made its mission to promote

and to enrich the cultural environment

Free citizenship classes are being
off ered at the Broadway location of
the Queens Library. Learn everything
you need to know about American
history, government and culture to
pass the citizenship exam. The class
will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

green card. The program is 12 weeks
long and students must complete the
