BY ANTHONY GIUDICE agiudice@ridgewoodtimes.com @A_GiudiceReport Spring has finally sprung, and the residents of Ridgewood were out in droves on Sunday, April 17, to celebrate the warm weather at the spring Myrtle Avenue street festival. Hundreds of people walked along the shopping strip between Forest and Wyckoff avenues enjoying the entertainment, shopping and international food from the more than 200 merchants and vendors lining the streets. Game vendors offered prizes for various skill games; bouncy castles and rides were set up for the kids to enjoy; a live band took the stage; food vendors were cooking and selling their delicious grub; and the MTA/NYTC even got in on the fun and had two vintage buses on display. The festival was presented by the Myrtle Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) and the Ridgewood Local Development Corporation (RLDC).
