See page 17 They drove teenager to a robbery in Maspeth BY ROBERT POZARYCKI [email protected] @robbpoz Detectives collared two Long Island men last week involved in connection with the recent robbery of a 17-yearold male in Maspeth. According to authorities, Louis Ryki, 19, of Wyandanch, NY and Thomas Rank, 25, of West Islip, NY allegedly participated in the robbery which occurred between 10:30 and 11 p.m. on April 10 at the corner of 57th Road and 58th Street. Ryki, Rank and an unidentifi ed accomplice allegedly drove the victim to the location inside a black Maserati, according to the criminal complaint that the Queens District Attorney’s offi ce provided. The relationship between the victim and the suspects was not known. Upon arriving at the location, prosecutors said, the unidentifi ed suspect punched the victim in the face. Ryki allegedly pulled out a silver fi rearm and removed the cellphone and $40 in cash. The victim was then punched again in the face, and the three suspects fl ed the scene. The incident was reported to the 104th Precinct; the victim suffered minor injuries. Following an investigation, Ryki and Rank were arrested last week by the 104th Precinct Detective Squad on charges of fi rst-degree armed robbery, second-degree robbery and seconddegree assault.
