A Woodhaven man who was pulled over on the aft ernoon of Jan. 17 in Richmond Hill for a traffi c violation was found to have a stash of illegal drugs — including crack/cocaine and marijuana — and a wad of cash, police announced. Law enforcement sources said Juan Bello, 29, was observed by 102nd Precinct offi cers acting suspiciously as he operated a 2002 Honda Accord at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Park Lane South just before 5 p.m. on Jan. 17. While questioning the driver, authorities said, the offi cers observed a strong scent of marijuana and conducted a search. Police recovered an undetermined quantity of marijuana as well as crack/cocaine and oxycodone pills. Some of the drugs were packaged in small plastic envelopes. Offi cers also found approximately $5,000 in cash in Bello’s possession, police sources said. Bello was variously charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance. “Great work by our Park Detail Offi cers!
