Appease your appetite at Pa-Nash Restaurant and Lounge, an elegant Eurosoul spot in southeast Queens. The innovative term Eurosoul signifies a fusion of Mediterranean, Caribbean and soul food dishes. Although Pa-Nash is located in Rosedale, the sophisticated space resembles an upscale Manhattan restaurant. It was established in 2013 by Annette and Noel Runcie, two entrepreneurs who have owned a Golden Krust restaurant branch in Queens Village for over a decade. Annette Runcie explains her inspiration behind Pa-Nash’s Eurosoul theme: “I wanted to represent something from Africa that was empowering and unique. I wanted to uplift our food and make it healthier.” Its décor even exhibits an authentic Moroccan atmosphere. The elaborate setting is decorated with banquette seating, fabric walls, a three-dimensional bar with blue lighting and luxurious chandeliers surrounded by drum pendants. Pa-Nash’s diverse meals provide the satisfaction that every stomach deserves. One of the signature appetizers is the fig glazed chicken wings served with hot chili sauce for $3.99. The jumbo wings are oven roasted with a tasty glaze comprised of red stripe Pa-Nash 144-14 243rd St, Rosedale (718) 978-6094 panashnyc.com beer brine, pureed figs, spices and a hot chili sauce for an additional kick.
