Michael, who previously was Financial Services Manager of the Forest Hills branch, has been in banking since 2006, joining People’s United Bank through its acquisition of over 50 Citizens Bank branches in 2012. Michael has a New York State Life Insurance License and his FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses. In his role as Market Manager for People’s United Bank, Michael led his branches to success in home equity lending, business lending, business and checking unit production as well as deposit growth. He currently oversees one of IRI Executive Director of Independence Residences, Inc Ray DeNatale is the Executive Director of Independence Residences, Inc since May of 2001. In addition to this role, he is a past Provider Co-Chair for the Queens Council on Developmental Disabilities. He is a member of the IAC Board of Directors and the Co-Chair of their Adult Day Services Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Advance of Greater New York. He holds both a bachelors and Masters Degree in Psychology. His work in the field spans over 40 years with a focus supporting people on the autism spectrum, crisis services, and Supported Employment. He and his wife Cathy have three sons, Dan, Mike and James. the largest in-store deposit base branches in the franchise. Michael focuses on developing his colleagues and leading by example. He works diligently every day to expand his colleagues’ skill sets to develop and deepen relationships with customers, as well as to further employees’ own careers – with several promoted to management positions within the company. Michael was named a winner of the bank’s CEO Leadership Award in 2013 for delivering outstanding results, being a good community partner, inspiring those around him, and caring for customers. Michael was born and raised in Queens, NY. He attended Bayside High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in 2008 from Queens College. RAYMOND DeNatale President/CFO, Clarke Restaurant Groups Tom Clarke is an entrepreneur who own nine fast food franchises. His empire, which includes national brands like Arby’s, Burger King and Taco John’s, stretches from Long Island across Queens to Manhattan. Tom graduated from the CUNY’s Baruch College with a degree in accounting. After graduation he went to work for Ernst & Young and later for City University of Baruch with a CPA degree. In 1991 he began a second career in buying and selling small businesses before becoming a restaurant owner. Tom and his wife Olivia raised their two children in Old Brookville. His daughter worked as an assistant district attorney in the Brooklyn DA’s office. His son graduated from the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is now a self-employed financier and owner of the firm Wingfoot, located on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. TOM CLARKE Leon LEE Leon Lee is a part-owner of the Long Island Business Institute where he also serve on the board of directors. LIBI is a chartered, nationally accredited, medium sized two- year college with campuses in Flushing and Commack. The college offers associates degrees in Business Management, Accounting, Office Technology, Homeland Security and Court Reporting. LIBI’s Court Reporting is recognized by the NCRA and is the region’s premier Court Reporting School. The Flushing campus is rapidly transforming from a local school for recent immigrants to an accelerated pathway to success for nearly 1,000 students. Leon is also the president of the Professional Business College, chief financial officer and part-owner of both the Sappo School and the Universal Career School.
