Taking place on Middle Neck Road between Grace Avenue and Maple Drive from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., all residents from Great Neck and neighboring communities are encouraged to attend and experience a variety of Great Neck’s fine dining options in a unique outdoor café environment while listening to the sounds of Damaged Goods, who are returning for a repeat performance in the Plaza’s promenade nights. “I love these summer promenades because along with the great entertainment there is such a variety of delicious foods in the Plaza,” said Ron Edelson, Great Neck Plaza BID Executive Director. “People of all ages come from surrounding areas to enjoy the evening and spend time with their friends, families and neighbors.” Each participating restaurant including Ginos, Burger Village, Muzi and Chez Kama will be offering prix fixe menus or discounted dishes. Additionally, Akbar the Caricaturist will be returning to offer promenade guests free caricatures on a first-come, first-served basis. Back again after a successful early summer performance on Bond Street, Damaged Goods will be performing live. With members Tom Provencher on guitar and vocals; Fred Raimondo on guitar and vocals; and Paul Brokaw on keyboard, drums and vocals, the band performs classic songs from rock icons including The Beatles, The Eagles, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton and many more. The friendly atmosphere of Great Neck Plaza is the perfect setting to enjoy the best dining and shopping throughout the summer.
