ABC’s “Quantico,” a series that follows several FBI recruits as they train at the agency’s base in Virginia, has started filming its second season at the Silvercup Studios Main Lot at 42-22 22nd St. The show filmed its first season in Montreal, Canada. Also filming at the Main Lot is Netflix’s original series “Untitled Stoller/Delbanco Project,” which is set to begin production later this summer. The comedy was created by writer and executive producer Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco, the husband-and-wife team behind “Sex Tape” and “Get Him to the Greek.” According to Variety, the eightepisode series is about a group of four college friends approaching 40. The show will explore what happens to the group’s marriages and friendships when one couple moves away. HBO’s “Girls” is filming its sixth and final series at the main lot and TV Land’s “Younger” will return to Silvercup Studios to shoot its third season. “Z,” a new Amazon original series, will film on the East Lot at 34-22 Starr Ave. The period piece series is based on the life of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s wife, Zelda Sayre. CBS Studio’s “Madam Secretary” and “Elementary” will also return to the East Lot for filming. “We’re excited to welcome a host of new productions to the Silvercup stages this summer,” said Alan Suna, CEO of Silvercup Studios. “These series join a lineup of prestigious, well-known productions at both the Main and East Lots, and we hope they will experience the same continued success as the dozens of television series which have been produced here.” This summer, Silvercup Studios will open a third location called Silvercup North at 295 Locust Ave. in the Port Morris section of the Bronx. The 115,000-square-foot, full-service production facility will feature four production studios with 50-foot-high ceilings, the highest ceilings of any film or TV production studio in New York City.
