TUESDAY, MAY 26 “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” is the funny and moving story of a high school senior who tries to avoid getting entangled in deep relationships, preferring to make short fi lm parodies of classic movies. His mother insists that he spend time with a girl in his class who has just been diagnosed with cancer. “Variety” wrote that the fi lm is “destined not only to connect with young audiences in a big way, but also to endure as a touchstone for its generation.” EDITOR’S PICK Join Queens Museum for a free special World’s Fair anniversary event featuring 8 p.m. $20 general admission, $12 museum members.
