Before joining Investors, she spent 10 years with Penn Federal Savings Bank which was acquired by NYCB (Garden State Division) in 2007, where she served as 1st Vice President and Regional Manager. Oliveira is a member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Queens Chamber of Commerce, and New American Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she serves as a board member of the New Jersey City University Foundation, on the gala committee for the Astoria Performing Arts Center Gala and American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Annual Luncheon Committee for Long Island and Queens. Oliveira has previously served as a board member of the Portuguese American Chamber of Commerce in NJ (PACCNJ) and as the treasurer of the Portuguese American Congress (PAC) of NJ. Through PAC of NJ, she volunteered at Naturalization/Citizen and Voter Registration Drives. Oliveira graduated from East Side High School in Newark, New Jersey before earning her bachelors of arts in English and journalism from New Jersey City University. The staff begins with the owner, Kertty Bolio. Bolio, along with Alex, Jane, and Cesar, are committed to getting their clients fi t. Bolio is a Queens girl at heart. She was born and raised in Corona. A graduate of St. Francis Preparatory, she obtained her bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University with concentrations in biology and philosophy. It was at Stony Brook, while working as an athletic trainer, that Bolio discovered the importance of physical fi tness and conditioning. After Stony Brook, she obtained her masters’ degree in physical education from Hofstra University. During her time at Hofstra, she began working as a personal trainer at The Fitness Consultant. Bolio has a deep commitment and dedication to her clients. She is constantly improving the facility, the program, and works closely with her trainers to ensure the success of her client. Proof of her dedication to her clients was the nomination and winning of The Fitness Consultant as Best in Boro 2011-12. Bolio’s certifi cations include National Strength and Conditioning Association and American College of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer, American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Instructor and P.A.C.E (People with Arthritis Can Exercise). She believes strongly in giving back to the community in ways which promote an active and healthy lifestyle. She encourages her clients to participate in local events benefi tting organizations with direct ties to the community. In addition to her charity work for cancer, Bolio also runs a fi tness walk twice a week for the New York City Parks Department at Fort Totten and sponsors an annual event for St. Mary’s Children Hospital.
