Anthony Lolli Growing Bigger, Giving Back By Anthony Lolli, CEO of Rapid Realty NYC You might not think of a real estate company as a likely breeding ground for charity, but from the day I started Rapid Realty, I wanted to make a difference. I didn’t have much growing up, but as I began to succeed, I wanted to help those less fortunate. In the early days, we’d hold clothing drives, or the whole office would go volunteer together. Then, a few years ago, we started franchising. Suddenly, Rapid Realty didn’t just have one business owner, it had five, then twenty, then sixty. Many of our franchisees came from backgrounds like mine, or even harder. For some, opening a business took everything they had. But as their individual businesses grew, they wanted to give back, too. Time and again, our franchisees and agents have banded together for causes they are passionate about. Rapid Realty has participated in a Habitat for Humanity build and the NYC AIDS Walk. We’ve raised money to fight debilitating childhood diseases and support afterschool programs. We’ve delivered supplies to neighborhoods devastated by Sandy. Their passion has inspired me to dream bigger. As Rapid Realty has grown, I’ve sought out chances to rally the whole company behind a single cause. And now, it gives me great pleasure to sponsor the Queens Kids Expo, which will provide a day of fun and education for local families and raise money for Life’s WORC, a wonderful organization that helps children with developmental disorders. The more we grow, the more we’ll be able to do. Maybe someday there will be a Rapid Realty Foundation to help people all over the world, like McDonald’s does with the Ronald McDonald House. But today I’m happy that we can make life a little better for our friends and neighbors right here at home. Rapid Realty will be raffling an iPad. Proceeds of raffle will benefit WORC
