SATURDAY, MARCH 29 With only weeks left before the federal deadline on March 31st, Community Healthcare Network is holding events to sign up New Yorkers – many who are still uninsured - for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. Most New Yorkers must enroll in a qualifi ed health plan this year or could face a penalty. The event aims to help those individuals who need more information on health insurance and get hands-on help with enrolling online. The event is free; and it is advised that anyone who wants to sign up for insurance bring New York State photo identifi cation, social security card, and four recent pay stubs. Individuals who are non-residents or were recently granted residency or a legally present status within the US should bring their green card, work visa, or resident card.
