Targum & Britton take a personal approach to pursuing justice When it comes to fighting medical malpractice in New York City, you’d be hard pressed to find two attorneys with as much experience and success in the field as Andrew Targum and Jerry Britton. The partners of their own firm, Targum & Britton LLP, have more than 50 years combined legal experience and specialize in seeking justice for those who have suffered grave harm at the hands of their medical care providers. Fighting medical malpractice in New York State is a challenge, but one that Targum and Britton both say they relish. Each case comes with a sense of sadness and remorse for the clients involved; the victims or their loved ones have suffered tremendously as a result of serious mistakes made by medical professionals they trusted would care for them. “We try to humanize it and get our clients the justice they deserve,” Targum said. The partners have worked from both sides of the courtroom. Targum worked for years with the Bronx District Attorney’s office advocating for victims’ rights before entering private practice. Britton spent more than a decade defending medical institutions and practitioners in malpractice cases. Because of their experience, they know what it takes to build a winning case for their clients while also anticipating and effectively countering the defendants’ procedural strategy and arguments. Medical malpractice cases aren’t completed overnight, Targum & Britton meticulously construct each case, bringing in medical professionals to evaluate each client and provide comprehensive testimony at trial. The attorneys also provide special attention to their clients and work to help them secure whatever assistance they need, along with a just reward from the court for their suffering. “We do what we can to make their lives better and also get them the justice they seek,” Britton said. Targum & Britton have secured numerous multi-million dollar awards and settlements, bringing financial relief and justice to people who suffered tremendously. Beyond medical malpractice, the firm also handles other cases including work placeand automobile accidents, negligence and estate planning. Regardless of the subject, Targum & Britton puts their clients’ care first and foremost and works hard to achieve for them the justice they deserve. “We’re New York City guys,” Britton said. “We know how to roll up our sleeves and work.” If you would like more information call 212-349-2727 or Email ATargum@TandBLawNY.com TARGUM & BRITTON, LLP. 225 Broadway Suite 307, New York, NY 10007-3709 www.tandblawny.com Hodgson, Director of Recreation at The Grand at Queens. Our residents took ownership of this program and it has built momentum for future fundraising initiatives.”
