Towers Country Club Seeks New Golf and Tennis Members NON-RESIDENT MEMBERSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE BY STEVE SILVERMAN North Shore Towers Golf and Country Club is looking for a few good men (and women). The warm weather is coming. Soon the golf course will be verdant and the tennis courts will be ready for play. This is the perfect time for you and your friends to begin to enjoy the benefits of a golf or tennis membership. The Country Club features a beautiful, challenging 18-hole golf course and five Har- Tru® tennis courts that will help players maximize their potential. The club is the only private golf and country club in New York City and is convenient for residents and business people based in Nassau, Queens or Manhattan. Golf and tennis memberships are now open for non-residents of North Shore Towers who wish to take advantage of the Country Club’s active lifestyle, vibrant community and convenient location. These “sponsored” memberships include all the facilities and amenities available to resident members, such as: • Convenient tee times and court reservations • Unlimited play • Golf and tennis tournaments • Guest privileges • Access to lessons from our golf and tennis pros • Use of indoor and outdoor swimming pools • Use of fitness center and health club • Daily fitness classes, including aerobics, spinning, Zumba and yoga • Country Club restaurant • A wide variety of social and entertainment events All this and more are available for yearly memberships at a cost that is less than you might imagine and that compares favorably to other private golf and country clubs in the area. Corporate and family memberships are also available at attractive rates. If you are currently a resident golf or tennis member, please consider inviting your non-resident friends, business associates and former neighbors to take advantage of our sponsored membership plans. You can increase your pleasure from our Country Club facilities by teaming up with people whose company you have come to enjoy. Sponsored memberships also give non-residents a chance to experience life in North Shore Towers and meet your friends and neighbors – and provide them with an opportunity to consider moving to the Towers. If you are not currently a golfer or a tennis player, consider giving resident membership a try. The sports are challenging and fun; the camaraderie is rewarding and the exercise is satisfying. In addition to other membership plans, the Country Club is now offering a special rate for new golf members who find it convenient to tee off after 2 pm. For more information, please call Mary Anne Langone, Country Club Manager, at 718-428- 5030, Ext. 1113. She will be happy to give you and your potential sponsored members detailed information on our facilities and costs and arrange for tours, meetings with our golf and tennis pros, and reduced-rate golf round or tennis time.
