We laughed with Woody, And Lucille Ball. Cabereted a bit on the side All just a little elevator ride. Had coffee or maybe a soda, Learned about the world from Rhoda. A nice way to while away the pm hours Just another week at North Shore Towers ** We wiled away the wintry hours, In the comfort and warmth of North Shore Towers. We relaxed, played cards or read a novel. With nary a thought of a driveway to shovel. We shopped and banked, swam or worked out. The mail and UPS came on their regular route. The hum of plows was music to please. I guess we really are all VIPS ** VWLS Whatever happened to vowels? Disappeared with the dirty towels. U’s and A’s are scarce at best, And E’s and I’s are under stress. O’s are obsolete in a text. LDL are deposits of fat, All initials in medical stats. What about the friendly PC, Hanging around with Http? Communications may be terse. But I’ll use AEIOU in my verse! New Towers resident Vicki Mazel submitted the following verses to The North Shore Towers Courier.
