Dr. Jared Dunkin, Board-Certified Radiologist Joins NY Imaging Specialists

announce that Jared Dunkin,
M.D. will be joining its team
of dedicated radiologists.
He is board-certified in
neuroradiology and has
provided unmatched care
and support to his patients
for the past 10 years.
Dr. Dunkin is a native
Long Islander and is
humbled to give back to
his community. “Growing up, I always loved
helping people. I am happy that I am now able
to do this in the community that has done so
much for me” said Dr. Dunkin.
Dr. Dunkin started his career at NY Imaging
Specialists because of the treatment he
received at NY Cancer & Blood Specialists.
“As a former patient, I have seen first-hand
the care they give to their patients,” said Dr.
Dunkin. “Their care and compassion inspired
me to provide the same care that I received
from them. I pledge to treat each patient like
my own family.”
Dr. Dunkin was inspired to study medicine
from his siblings. “Medicine runs in my family,”
said Dr. Dunkin. “My brother is a physician
and my sister is a nurse. Seeing them pursue
their passion inspired me to pursue mine,
too.” Dr. Dunkin earned his medical degree and
completed his internship
and diagnostic radiological
residency at SUNY Stony
Brook. Dr. Dunkin finished
his neuroradiology
fellowship at Yale
University’s Department of
Radiology.
Prior to starting his
career with NY Imaging
Specialists, Dr. Dunkin
most-recently served
as the program director
for John T. Mather Memorial Hospital’s
radiology department and was appointed as
an assistant professor at SUNY Stony Brook
Hospital.
Dr. Dunkin’s presence will promote positive
growth as NY Imaging Specialists continues to
expand its practice.
