its 16th annual main event at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington, giving more than $1.4 million
to charities and people in need since 2003.

More than 150 volunteers with the nonprofit The Book Fairies spent three hours
lining up 31,000 books through two Wyandanch schools in an attempt to set a
Guinness World Record for the longest-ever line of books.
