have more easily accessible health care for veterans
Look for the VA Medical Center’s Mobile Unit
in North Hempstead three days a week!
Northport VA Medical Center’s Mobile Unit will be stationed at Clinton
G. Martin Park three days a week, starting October 1, 2018. Services
offered by the mobile unit include: primary health care, podiatry
care and many other services. The van will be staffed with a doctor
and nurses. Once the schedule is finalized, it will be posted on the
Town’s website and be available by calling the Town’s 311 Call Center.

The Town of North Hempstead now offers a special
caseworker exclusively devoted to the needs of
the Town’s veterans. The caseworker addresses
issues including access to benefits, connecting to
services, and obtaining your DD214/Separation
Documents. Please call the Town’s 311 Call Center
to set up an appointment.
