CATCHING AIR
Military and stunt aircraft filling the skies over Long Island can mean only
one thing: The 15th annual Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach is back for
Memorial Day weekend.
The legendary U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the elite squadron of F/A-18 Hornets that
woo crowds with their signature diamond-formation trickery, are headlining
the show this year. Also performing will be the U.S. Army Golden Knights
Parachute Team, legendary air show pilot Sean Tucker, WWII-era warbirds and
many more.
The show runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 26 and May 27 at Jones Beach State
Park on Ocean Parkway in Wantagh. Attendance is free, but parking is $10.
