It is one of many Mexican regional dances that Mazarte Dance Company specializes in. Their performances are all done by dedicated professionals, thus spreading knowledge and the culture of Mexico all over the city. This shot was taken during the summer at a free Mexican Dance Recital at a park in Sunnyside, Queens.
