Community events, including street fes-tivals,
where he offers health screenings
and gets to know the community. Origi-nally
from Bangladesh, Dr. Khundhar is
specially equipped to meet the language

Bengali community, but his friendli-ness,
caring attitude, and eagerness to
help with the individualized needs of all

his merchant neighbors around Green-point

who brings a smile when he steals a
few minutes out for a veggie slice from
Lenny’s Pizza, café drinks at Coffee
Tossy, or chicken with rice from Riko
Peruvian Cuisine.

Keeping Family
Pharmacy Alive
in Sunnyside
Major retail pharmacies
have become such an
ubiquitous sight in New
York City, many New
Yorkers no longer have someone they

multicultural aspect of the community,"
says Khundhar. Working personally with
the public is a true passion for Dr. Khund-
