The owners of Queens Comfort in
Astoria announced on Instagram that
they would close up shop in February.
But a brand-new sign plastered on the
window of a vacant shop two blocks
away indicates they’ll be up and run-ning
again.
According to a post on their Insta-gram
account, the restaurant at 40-09
30th Ave., will officially close on Feb. 4.
The eatery serves elevated comfort food
and a variety of sandwiches, burgers,
brunch items and starters like atomic
fire balls, disco tots and Cap’n Crunch
chicken fingers.
A sign with the words “Queens Com-fort”
on top of a wolf head is currently
affixed to a window at 36-13 30th Ave.,
the old Sugar Freak location. Sugar
