Local LIC Accounting Firm
The news has been full of tax talk of late, and now tax season itself is fast approaching.
One local accounting firm, TaxTerminal.com, has been in the neighborhood for a year this
month. Run by Queens native and Certified Public Accountant Guillermo ‘Will’ DeJesus,
TaxTerminal’s Long Island City location is at 10-11 46th Avenue. We were able to chat
with DeJesus about what brought him and TaxTerminal to LIC, and what his company has
to offer.

When was your business
founded and what ser-vices
do you provide?
We started as a brick and mortar
practice in my hometown of Corona
in 2014. We then started to build the
TaxTerminal.com website and mobile
app. We offer a free consultation and
can do your personal and business taxes
online as well as onsite.
How does Tax Terminal
differ from other tax
preparation companies?
Instead of you having to physically
go to an office, wait in line, or do your
own taxes, you can engage with us as
your CPA Tax Service via our mobile
app or web app from anywhere in the
world. In addition, all tax returns are
completed by our office and reviewed
and signed by the onsite CPA. We also
have all inclusive packages for business
owners that include payroll, bookkeep-ing,
and business tax work. In addition,
if you like the old fashioned meet and
greet model, we have our local office in
LIC and an office in NYC servicing all
WeWork locations in the five boroughs!
Why did you decide to open
a location in Long Island
City and what do you enjoy
about the neighborhood?
I am a Queens-born native but I also
spent my professional business life in
NYC. With the outstanding growth in
LIC, it was a natural choice for us. I
now live and work in LIC and I take
the ferry to NYC WeWorks locations
regularly.
What qualifications
do your employees
have?
I put my employees through a
rigorous training program that in-cludes
customer service, personal
tax, business tax, and tax savings
initiatives. I am a former professor at
Baruch College – I train and track

the training of my employees my-
self!
We even have a hall of fame board
in the office profiling our best interns
and the CPAs that we have sponsored
over the years.
