
 
		EMERGING BRONX MUSICIANS ROCK THE BOROUGH 
 Local underground musicians had a rocking time at The Underground FLC and The Fox and King, Inc.’s Rock the Bronx Emerging Music Platform on Saturday, June 29 at the Bronx Music Heritage  
 Center. Hosted by legendary music industry rep, Marco Soccoli, former drummer of New York-based glamrock band Roxx, the borough’s open mic night showcased the incredible talents of many  
 local bands and up-and-coming artists from all genres including Richard Jimenez, Brandon Tyler, Siobhan Francis, Sean Jay, Jada Crawford, Mister Salaam of Peace and Naive Melody.

 BRONX ROTARY CLUB HOSTS PRESIDENT’S GALA 
 The Rotary Club of the Bronx hosted its annual President’s Gala celebrating the family of the Rotary on Thursday, June 27 at Marina del Rey Caterers. This year’s honorees were Ram Gupta,  
 Chatham Management Co., Inc. - Bronx Rotarian since 1987; Pascap Co., Inc. and the Capasso Family - in memory of Frank G. Cassapo, Bronx rotarian and Paul Harris Award recipient Richard Powers.

  The event also featured the installation of new president Ralph Scottino and offi cers for the 2019-2020 board.
