 40th Precinct  
 Tuesday, June 11 at 11:30 a.m. -- The NYPD  
 is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining  
 the whereabouts of three unidentified males and a  
 vehicle sought in connection with a robbery.  
 Cops got a report of a robbery inside of a multiunit  
 residential building in the vicinity of Tinton Avenue  
 and East 147th Street.  
 Two unidentified males in FedEx uniforms rang  
 the doorbell of a 23-year-old male victim’s apartment, 
  and were buzzed into the building. One of the  
 males was carrying a package in his arms as he entered. 
   
 When the victim opened his apartment door, one  
 of the unidentified males punched the victim in his  
 face. Both unidentified males produced knives, however, 
  they fled upon seeing that the victim’s brother  
 was also present in the apartment. The victim, who  
 suffered pain to his face, refused medical attention.  
 No property was taken. The unidentified males fled  
 on foot and then entered a black four-door sedan. 
 One of the unidentified men is a Hispanic who  
 is 30-years-old to 35-years-old. He is 5’7” to 5’9”  
 tall with a beard. 
 The second unidentified individual is a Hispanic  
 man who is 5’8” to 5’10” tall. He too is 30-years-old  
 to 35-years-old.  
 41st Precinct  
 Sunday, June 30  at  1:27 a.m.  -- Police  responded  
 to  a  call  of  a  person  shot  inside  of  the  
 lobby of 1044 Avenue St. John.  
 Upon arrival, offi cers an observed a 22-yearold  
 man  with  a  multiple  gunshot  wounds  to  the  
 body. EMS responded to the scene and transported  
 the victim to Lincoln Hospital where he was  
 pronounced deceased. No arrests have been made  
 and the investigation is ongoing a s of press time.  
 43rd Precinct  
 Tuesday, June 25 at 10:10 p.m. -- The NYPD  
 is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying  
 ‘persons of interest’ wanted for questioning in connection  
 to a robbery.  
 It was reported to police that two victims were  
 approached in the rear of 2158 Weschester Avenue.  
 One of the victims was a 35-year-old man and another  
 was a 54-year-old man. The individuals committing  
 the robbery punched both victims and took  
 $600 from the 54-year-old man’s wallet.  
 EMS responded to the location and transported  
 both victims to Jacobi Medical Center. The 35-yearold  
 man received treatment at the hospital for a laceration  
 on the back of his head. The 54-year-old  
 man received medial attention for lacerations to the  
 head.  
 One of the two individuals is a Hispanic man who  
 is between 6’0” to 6’1” tall with a thin build.  
 Another of the two individuals is a man who is  
 5’6” to 5’9” who was last seen wearing a dark hooded  
 sweatshirt.  
 44th Precinct 
 Saturday, June 1 at 4:00 p.m. -- The NYPD is  
 asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an  
 individual wanted for questioning in connection to

 a burglary that occurred in the 44th Precinct.  
 It was reported to police that the individual entered  
 a commercial building in the vicinity of Webster  
 Avenue  and  East  167  Street  through  an  unlocked  
 door and attempted to open a safe inside  
 the location. The individual fl ed the location in an  
 unknown direction.  
 No property was removed. 
 The  individual  wanted  for  questioning  is  described  
 as a male  Black with  black  hair.  He was  
 last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black sweatpants. 
 Saturday, June 25 at 8 p.m. -- The NYPD  is  
 asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a  
 male and a female wanted for questioning in connection  
 with  a  burglary  that  occurred  inside  of  
 1181 Sherman Avenue.  
 Cops  got  a  report  that  the  man  and  woman  
 entered  the  commercial  building  through  a  side  
 entrance.  Once  inside,  they  removed  a  refrigerator  
 and washer machine and fl ed in unknown direction. 
 One of the individuals is a male black who  
 was last seen wearing a baseball cap, black tank  
 top and black pants. Another of the individuals is  
 a  female  with  a  light  complexion,  who  was  last  
 seen wearing a blue and red shirt and gray sweat  
 pants. 
 45th Precinct 
 Wednesday, July 3 at 8:46 a.m. -- Police responded  
 to a 911 call in front of 2430 Lyvere Street.  
 A group of males were hanging out in front of the  
 location when a 55-year-old man had a dispute with  
 another one of the individuals. During the course of  
 the argument, the individual punched the 55-yearold  
 male victim in the face, causing him to fall the  
 ground and strike his head.  The victim suffered a  
 serious head injury and was taken to Jacobi Medical  
 Center by EMS personnel.  
 The individual is described as a Black or Hispanic  
 man, 6’2” tall and weighing 180 pounds. He  
 was last seen wearing a black and white Nike tracksuit, 
  black sneakers and a black baseball cap with a  
 gold colored eagle gold embroidery around the brim  
 of the hat. 
 Firefi ghters responded to a 2-alarm fi re at 757 Van Nest Avenue on Sunday, July 7 at  
 2:45 p.m. No injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.
