FOOD Get on the boat When Pye Boat Noodle opened last month in Astoria, it joined the ranks of several Queens restaurants that are making Thai one of the most popular cuisines in Western Queens. From their neighbors at Leng Thai, to Enthaice, Red Basil, Thai Elephant, Three E, Tuk Tuk, Khao Man Gai, and even SriPraPhai, there are quite a variety of places to order your favorite dish. So we stopped by to chat with owner Bert Siriboon and his wife, Chef Thorn Siriboon, and we brought along our camera and some empty stomachs to see what makes Pye Boat so special. Besides specializing in authentic preparation of a noodle named after a pedal boat, they have also mastered some pretty delicious versions of Thai street food.
