In July of 2013, Kimberly. R Cline became the
10th president of Long Island University. Since
starting her presidency Dr. Kline has led the
school through a transformation process that
has emphasized learning through experience
and excellence in teaching. Dr. Cline has been
extremely involved in the establishment of
the School of Arts and Communication at
LIU Brooklyn. This initiative and more will
enforce the college’s role in the resurrection
of Downtown Brooklyn which will then give
students more unique opportunities over all
of the campuses. Dr. Cline has been named
to the Long Island Press Power List of the
50 most influential people on Long Island
and was named one of Brooklyn’s Women of
