LAAMCO ( LaGuardia Airport)
The LaGuardia Airport Airline
Management Council, better known
as LAAMCO, has been in existence
for over thirty years. The main purpose
of LAAMCO is to enable the airlines
that operate at LGA to work together
on common concerns and speak with
a unified voice on issues that impact
the commercial aviation industry as
they relate to the conduct of business
at LGA, operated by the Port Authority
of New York and New Jersey.

The Kennedy Airport Airlines
Management Council is an association
comprised of Station Managers
of all scheduled airlines operating into
and out of J. F. Kennedy International
Airport at Jamaica, New York. The
purpose of the Council is as follows:
-To foster, encourage and stimulate
cooperation among the scheduled
at JFK Airport
-To cooperate with the PANYNJ
and any other agencies, governmental
or otherwise, in the advancement
and development of the airlines’ interests
and air transportation.
-To review current developments
at JFK Airport as it may affect the operations
of the member airlines and
to make recommendations to the respective
managements of each member
airline relating thereto.
-To collect and disseminate information
to the member airlines with respect
to matters which may affect the
operations of more than one member
airline.

The U.S. Customs and Border
Protection (CBP) Law Enforcement
Explorer Program is a volunteer program
designed for young men and
women between the ages of 14-20 to
receive experience in and exposure to
law enforcement careers within CBP.
The Program provides applicants
the option to participate in either the
United States Border Patrol (USBP)
Explorer Program or the CBP Officer
(CBPO) Explorer Program.

The Port Authority Police Emerald

NY Community Aviation
Roundtable(NYCAR)
The Port Authority, in collaboration
with the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) and representatives of
communities surrounding our airports,
facilitated the development of Airport
Community Roundtables at JFK, LGA,
EWR, and TEB airports. Each community
roundtable meets on a regularly
scheduled basis to provide ongoing
opportunities for the members of
the community to maintain open communication
with the Port Authority and
the FAA, seeking mutual and feasible
ways to manage airport noise impacts.

JFK International Synagogue
The International Synagogue
serves airport employees, business
people, and Jewish travelers at JFK
Airport. Serving American Jewry in
this unique way since May, 2001,
the Synagogue receives groups of
persons of all ages from all over the
United States prior to their departures
to Israel or other places on the globe.
The chapel is open for shacharit, mincha,
and maariv services, as well as
for group prayer (minyan). Passengers
can rest between connecting flights in
the chapel.
