JFK Rotary Holiday Party
Special needs children enthralled
AIRPORT VOICE, JANUARY 2020 9
The JFK Rotary Club in partnership
with JetBlue, and with the help
and contributions from many airport
organizations held their Holiday
Party for children at the JetBlue
Bldg. 81 at JFK Airport. This annual
celebration was started years ago by
Rudy Auslander to bring holiday joy
to special needs children and this
party continues stronger every year.
Visits from fairyland characters, the
Islanders mascot Sparky, miniature
ponies, State Police canine Gleason
and of course Mr. and Mrs. Claus
with their spirited elfish workers and
songs from the Aviation High School
Band brightened the day for hundreds
of children.
Horse Ability brought Aiden and Pearl therapeutic mini-horses to the party.
