The planes would not depart on time, the food would not be delivered, the security would be a mess, the communication would fail without these women of T1.
AIRPORT V 10 OICE, JANUARY 2020
Terminal One holiday celebration
Exciting redevelopment begins in 2020
The annual Terminal One Holiday
party was extra special this year
as it also celebrated the signing of the
lease with the Port Authority authorizing
the beginning of the terminal
redevelopment at JFK Airport. Terminal
One Group Associates (TOGA)
was chosen to be a major component
of the airport redevelopment and
plans to break ground early in the
year. Business partners, friends and
other airport terminal managers
were invited to an early afternoon
festivity of great food and beverages
provided by Airist services including
Sushi, seafood, cheeses, carved
roasted meats, vegetarian selections
and even a whole pig were centerpieces
of the food spread. TOGA
board members and investor representatives
shared in the congenial
holiday atmosphere. Of special interest
was the raffling of airline travel
tickets provided by T1 airlines Norwegian,
Turkish, Alitalia, and Aeroflot.
A big surprise was the winning
of an Alitalia ticket by Alitalia employee
raffle picker Frank Cosa. He
picked his own name for a ticket
from his own airline! He graciously
returned it for another lucky person
to win to the applause of his fellow
workers. Terminal business partners
from from around JFK Airport
stopped by to share in the annual festivity
and to congratulate the terminal
management on the recent terminal
expansion agreement.
