Officers found Noel Hidalgo, 58, inside of his Jamaica Avenue residence around 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4 with trauma to his head, said cops. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police looking for suspect in hit-and-run Police are looking for a suspect who fatally stuck a man in Woodhaven. According to the NYPD, police responded to an accident at the intersection of Jamaica Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Friday, December 7. When cops arrived at the scene they found 35-year-old Yunior Antonio Perez Rodriguez, from Brooklyn, who was struck while attempting to cross Woodhaven Boulevard. Rodriguez sustained severe trauma and was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing and police are looking for the driver, who did not remain on the scene. According to police, the armed suspect forced one employee to the floor and demanded money from a second worker. The suspect then fled on foot. On Wednesday, November 27, the perp walked into the Bank of America located at 175-57 Hillside Avenue, approached a teller and passed a demand note.  The teller walked away and the suspect then fled the bank without any money. He is described as black, in his 30s, 5’8” in height, 160 pounds, wearing a black hooded jacket with black jeans. 108TH PRECINCT LIC, Sunnyside and Woodside Seek cell phone thief Police are looking for a man they say pilfered a cell phone on November 22 on a southbound E train. The incident occurred at the Queens Plaza subway station when the suspect grabbed the male 24-year-old victim’s iPhone 5 cell phone and fled from the train as the doors closed. The suspect is a male Hispanic in his 20s, 5’7”, 150 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. 109TH PRECINCT Downtown Flushing, East Flushing, Queensboro Hill, College Point, Malba, Whitestone, Beechhurst and Bay Terrace Man accused of raping and burning woman in Flushing Police are hunting for a man accused of raping a woman inside his car in Flushing, before  burning  her hair and clothes. Wu Lin, 35, allegedly sexually assaulted a 31-year-old woman at about 10 p.m. on December 4, the NYPD said. The incident took place in Kissena Park, at 165-14 Booth Memorial Avenue, police said. Lin and the victim knew each other, according to cops. Lin was described by police as Asian with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5’7”, weighing roughly 140 pounds. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers  at 800-577-8477. 110TH PRECINCT Corona and Elmhusrt Cops looking for E train rider who groped woman Police are searching for a suspect who they say groped a woman onboard a subway train near Roosevelt Avenue. The 33-year-old victim was on a southbound E train when the suspect approached her, then forcibly touched her, said cops. No injuries were reported from the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. 114TH PRECINCT Astoria, Long Island City, Woodside and Jackson Heights Police: Suspect steals $5K from Astoria clothing store Cops are searching for a man who allegedly burglarized an Astoria clothing store last month. Around 4 a.m. on November 24, the suspect entered the Venzini Clothing Store at 30-64 Steinway Street through a hole in the roof and fled with approximately $5,000, said police. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. 115TH PRECINCT East Elmhurst, North Corona and Jackson Heights iPhone stolen on train Cops are looking for the man who stole an iPhone from a No. 7 train rider. The incident happened on November 22 when the suspect took the woman’s iPhone and fled when the train doors opened at the Junction Boulevard station.
