Two injured after being hit
by SUV in Richmond HIll
No charges have been fi led against the
driver who struck a grandmother and her
8-year-old grandson with his SUV as they
crossed a Richmond Hill intersection on
Saturday morning, police reported.
Th e 56-year-old grandma remains hospitalized
in critical condition, while the
young boy was treated for abrasions,
sources familiar with the investigation
said.
Authorities said the incident happened
at 11:11 a.m. on Aug. 3 at the corner of
Jamaica Avenue and 115th Street.

Three beat and rob man
in South Ozone Park
Cops are looking for three men who
assaulted and robbed a victim on the street
in South Ozone Park before taking off .
According to police, at 10:20 p.m.
on July 29, the three male perpetrators
approached a 34-year-old male at 111-17
Leff erts Blvd., punched him in the face
and head, and removed his wallet.
Th e perpetrators fl ed the scene on foot.
Th e incident was reported to the 106th
Precinct.

Creep gropes woman and
breaks into her Astoria home
Police need the public’s help in fi nding
a pervert who fondled a woman on
an Astoria street, then later broke into her
apartment and crept over her as she slept.
Authorities say that at 2:50 a.m. on July
27, a 26-year-old woman was approached
by an unknown man in front of a residence
in the vicinity of 24th Street and
23rd Avenue. Th e man told her that he
was injured in a bike accident, and during
the interaction, he touched the victim’s
breasts, causing her to fl ee to her nearby
residence.
At 4:30 a.m. that same morning, the victim
woke up to fi nd the same suspect in
her bedroom standing over her. Th e victim
screamed and the suspect fl ed the
scene the bedroom’s second fl oor window.
Th ere were no items taken or injuries
reported as a result of the incidents.
On Aug. 1, the NYPD released a sketch
of the suspect, who is described as a
30-year-old Hispanic man with close-cut,
short, dark hair, standing 5 feet, 8 inches
tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was last
seen wearing a black T-shirt.

According to law enforcement sources,
a 53-year-old man behind the wheel of a
Toyota Tundra was traveling northbound
on 115th Street and attempted to turn
westbound on to Jamaica Avenue.
As he did so, police said, he struck the
grandmother and grandson as they tried
to cross the avenue. Th e driver stopped his
vehicle and remained at the scene following
the collision.
Offi cers from the 102nd Precinct and
EMS units responded to the scene. Cops
found the grandmother with severe
body trauma; paramedics brought her to
Jamaica Hospital, where she’s listed in critical
condition.
Her grandson, meanwhile, was taken to
Long Island Jewish Medical Center in stable
condition.
Th e investigation is ongoing, police said.

Man arrested for groping
5 women in Corona
Police have made an arrest after
surveillance video has captured the
likeness of a man who five women
say groped them in Corona last
month.
Th e fi ve incidents on July 30, which
occurred in the area of 55th Avenue and
99th Street, were reported within fi ve
minutes of each other, according to the
110th Precinct.
Cops took Stephen Delvalle Pena, 21
of Woodhaven, into custody on Aug. 2
and charged him with 10 counts of forcible
touching.
Law enforcement sources said Pena’s
spree began with a 30-year-old woman
reporting an incident at 8:15 a.m. where
she told police her breasts had been
touched at said intersection, followed
by a 57-year-old woman, a 17-year-old
woman, a 30-year-old and a 29-year-old
reporting to police that their buttocks
were groped.
