Cardozo falls to Collegiate in quarterfi nals
Cardozo couldn’t overcome a slow start
and fell 64-60 to Collegiate High School in
the PSAL Boys Class AA quarterfi nal game.
Th e Judges were outscored 17-11 in the
fi rst quarter and never recovered. Both
teams scored 18 points in the second
quarter as Collegiate took a 35-29 lead
into halft ime.
While Cardozo cut three points off the
defi cit in the third quarter, they could not
complete the comeback in the fourth.
