A native of Lienfeld Yugoslavia, he is survived by his loving wife Berta, brother Heinrich and children Heidi and Joseph. He was also the cherished “Opa” to his grandchildren Alyssa, Brandon and Alexandra. +++ ANNA KIKEL of Middle Village died on Tuesday, December 9, at the age of 84. A native of Yugoslavia, she was the beloved wife of Joseph Kikel, devoted mother of Joseph K., Edward E. and Robert R. Kikel, dear sister of Pauline Miede and fond grandmother of Daniel Kikel, Christina Hyndman, Kara MacCorkindale, Natalie, Jessica, Michelle and Matthew Kikel. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Resurrection Ascension Church, Rego Park, followed by interment at St. Philip Neri Cemetery, East Northport, L.I., under the direction of George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale. +++ MARIA GRILL of Ridgewood died on Sunday, December 7, at the age of 94. A native of Seche, Gottschee, Yugoslavia, she was the wife of the late John, devoted mother of Helga Grill, dear sister of Hans Hogler and fond grandmother of Erika Feltman and great-grandmother of Christian and Luke Filagrossi.
