©Times Newsweekly - 2014 - MORTON DEATH NOTICES STUART OWEN STRAUSS, 65, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., passed away on Saturday, December 6, at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, from complication of routine surgery. He was the husband of Janet M. (nee Hermann) Strauss, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage. Born on March 12, 1949 in Brooklyn; he had dual residences in Monroe County, Pa. and Glendale, Queens since 1993. He worked in the envelope and printing business all his life. Stuart was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Red Nights and many other motorcycle organizations. He was the proud founder of Independent Bikers of Pennsylvania. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Stefanie; a son, Brett; a step-daughter, Christine; and several grandchildren. Visitation hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, December 19, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg, Pa.
